Who is behind east-himalaya.com? |
east-himalaya.com is the website of naturebeyond,
tour management company established in August 2001 to cater
to guests travelling in north-east India. The name of the
company is Alpine Nature Beyond Pvt. Ltd. naturebeyond currently
serves visitors in Darjeeling, Sikkim, Bhutan and Dooars region.
We also operate in the other north eastern states.

2. What are your
credentials? |
| a) naturebeyond is a Private
Limited Company, the leading tour operator of north east India
with strong grass root infrastructure.
b) We are the authorised travel agent of `West Bengal Tourism`
and founder member of EHTTOA, the leading tour operators association
of eastern himalaya, we are also active members of TAAB, the
oldest travel agents association of Bengal.
c) We are based in the north-east and provide first hand service
to our guests. Our service is not outsourced from other agencies.
We have our own people on major destinations and deal with
the tours directly.
d) We provide prsonalised service since the person who communicates
with you will be the same person who takes care of you during
the tour on the ground.
d) If anyone from your town or city or country has already
travelled through naturebeyond, we may provide you with his
/ her contact, so that you may have a first hand account of
our service standards. Please note such contacts are given
subject to naturebeyond privacy policy and guest permission. |

3. What infrastructure
do you have? |
| Our infrastructure includes own car,
tents, bikes, camping and mountaineering equipments etc. We
are developing two resorts currently. Both are joint ventures
between naturebeyond and other individuals. We are also developing
some homestays in different parts of Sikkim and Darjeeling.
The most important resource for naturebeyond is thorough knowledge
of the region and very good ground level contact. |

4. I do not want
a packaged tour. Can I simply book the hotels through you? |
| We provide our guests customised
tour packages. You may also take any service (or part service)
that you want, such as hotel booking or car rental or guide
service. In our assessment, taking individual service adds
up to more than the cost of a complete package, you also miss
out on the `peace of mind` element of a complete package. |

5. What gurantees
do you provide about your service? |
| a) We won’t make any
over promises to you.
b) We will give you a fair opinion about your tour, devoid
of marketing gimmick.
c) We will be transparent to you.

6. I am not interested
in leisure tour. Can you serve my specific interests? |
| Apart from leisure tour, naturebeyond
also operates in the field of Adventure tourism, Jungle tourism,
Ethnic tourism, Eco tourism, Buddhist tourism, Heritage tourism
etc. Please tell us your area of interest and we will let
you know what we can do for you. |

7. I am visiting
the region alone. Can you attach me to an ongoing tour of
yours? |
| We do not attach individual
tourist with other tourists or groups. Each
tour at naturebeyond is customised and made just for you.
There are certain restrictions, especially in Sikkim and Bhutan,
on traveling alone by foreigners. Except for these places,
we can arrange an exclusive tour for you. |

8. Can you arrange
for an English speaking guide? |
| naturebeyond provides English speaking
guides to assist you in your tour. Our guides are professionally
trained and have very knowledge about the region. We also
offer expert special interest guides. |

9. Can you arrange
for an English speaking Driver? |
| Drivers in the region can speak and understand
Hindi, Nepali and Bengali. Some of them may have limited understanding
of english. We do not have english or other foreign language
drivers. |

10. How can I make
payment for the service I take? |
Part of the payment must be made at the
time of booking. Our banker is ICICI Bank and our executive
will explain you the payment procedure depending on the country
from which you make the payment. The balance payment can be
made on arrival in Cash or Credit card at naturebeyond office
in Siliguri. We are also about to integrate with an online
payment gateway. |
