Yet Teen taley is just about 30 minutes drive from Gangtok. The famous Rumtek monastery is 15 minutes (one km) walk. Rooms are specious and the hospitality is homely.

Facilities

At Teentaley you can get all the modern amenities in a village surrounding. The food you get here is organic. The owners grow their own vegetable with organic fertilisers. There are cows and the milk is used exclusively for the consumption of the guests. The simple taste of vegetables, curry and lassi here can hardly be matched by any five star hotel.
There are horses for you to ride and the area is large enough for your children to play without you worrying about nearby road and vehicles as there is none. You can seat in the large garden and watch the twilight over Gangtok town, or simply take a strall to Rumtek monastery.
