Fest for unity

Kalimpong, April 29: The exposure fest is finally on.After days of preparation, the two-day festivity organised jointly by ICSE and ISC schools to provide a common platform of interaction for students, kicked off today.

Christened Crossroads and hosted by St Augustine's School this time, a number of competitions have been lined up for schoolchildren as part of the fest. This is the second time that a gathering such as this is being held by the Association of Heads of ICSE and ISC Schools, Kalimpong, under which there are eight institutions. Each year, one of the member schools hosts the event.

While enthusiastic children participated in the sit-and-draw, drama, Just a Minute and other contests, excited groups of students could be seen discussing tomorrow's programme. Collage-making, quiz, antakshari, instrumental music and singing contests will keep them busy tomorrow.
