After Gangtok, Namchi and Mangan; Ravangla and Pelling is going to join the league of major tourist pillars. A festival will be held in Ravangla and Pelling very soon. The festival will includes carnivals, cultural docs, food fests, fashion shows, art and craft exhibitions and music concerts.

`Local people and the tourists will enjoy the festival in the coming April in Ravangla situated in the south Sikkim. The festival of Pelling located in west Sikkim will be held in the month of May,` said Mr. A. K. Srivastab, the commissioner cum secretary of the tourism department. A local committee has been formed in Ravangla under the leadership of local MLA and urban and development minister Mr. D. D. Bhutia. The fund will be provided to the committee by the state tourism department. The venue for the festival will be Cho Dzo lake site, on the Ralong road.
