Kalimpong, Nov. 7: A film festival showcasing the forests, wildlife, and tourist destinations of North Bengal will be held at the Town Hall on November 14 and 15. The festival is being held for the first time in Kalimpong. It is organised by the Kalimpong division of West Bengal Forest Development Corporation in association with soil conservation department and Red Cross.

The main objective of the programme is to create awareness among the people regarding different issues like wildlife conservation, environment and eco-tourism activities taking place in North Bengal. The target audience will primarily be school students, and they will also have an open session with forest officials answering queries on all forest-related issues.
