Kalimpong, Nov. 8: The food festival Razzmatazz
organised by Good Shepherd Institute of Hospitality Management
is set to excite the palates of the locals for the third consecutive
year. Relaxing the senses will be a live music show performed
by Kolkata-based music band Shiva.
This
time the food promises more delight because, instead of the
institute`s students, food will be prepared by professionals.
There will be around 140 different dishes for the satisfaction
of food buffs. Tibetan dishes like sikam pa - a dish made
of dried meat - and emadatchi - a preparation of cheese and
chili – along with various Newari achars (pickles) will
be served in the festival.
The Indian traditional flavour will be provided
by the reshmi kabab, tandoori prawns and paneer pasinda while
continental dishes like roast duck in cranberry sauce and
the Italian risotto will add an international flavour to the
menu.
