Jalpaiguri, Feb. 6, 2006: A month long workshop titled the Soul of Bengal with Rabindrasangeet performances will be held from February 8 to March 7 in Lataguri. An exponent of Rabindrasangeet, Rajeshwar Bhattacharya has chosen Lataguri, located in the periphery of the Gorumara National Park, for its natural splendor.

The exponent and his wife conduct the workshop under the auspices of Swaramalika, which is an organisation based in UK that explores the musical aspects of Rabindrasangeet.

Among the participants in the workshop there are 14 foreigners including musicians, journalists, industrialists and psychiatrists. The complex of the resort will serve as the location of the workshop. Tourist bookings have been stopped till March 7 to conduct the workshop.
