For the first time in the Darjeeling Hills yesterday, a Regional Quiz Contest was held at Himali Boarding School, Kurseong, under the banner of the Association of Schools for the Indian School Certificate West Bengal Chapter.
Schools from different states participated, including Assam, Sikkim and West Bengal.
The contest was divided into two categories ~ Class X and below in category I and in category II ~ Classes XI and XII. In category I, students from St Michael’s School, Siliguri were victorious. In category II, students of Himali Boarding School, Kurseong were the winners.
