Prosenjit is an expert mountaineer with more than a decades experience in
climbing and trekking in the himalayas. His latest climb was mount Shinkun
in West Himachal Pradesh in 2004. He has also climbed Shri Kailash - 2000,
Khoteswar - 1996, Drapvadi Ke Danda - 1995. He was also part of the Rathong
Expedition 1992. He has vast experience in trekking in the Sikkim, Garwhal,
Kumaun, Himachal, Ladakh and Arunachal. His mountaineering qualifications
include Basic and Advance course from the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute
in Darjeeling. Being fluent in Nepali (the principle language in the hills)
and a through knowledge of the region also helps in taking up challanging
projects. Prosenjit looks after naturebeyond mountaineering and trekking activity.
He also acts as a guide in many naturebeyond tour programs including some
of our leisure programs.
