 Day
1: Reception at Siliguri
(NJP/Bagdogra) and transfer to Darjeeling
(2134M, 90Kms) through winding road and lush green tea
garden on the rolling hill slop. You will have free evening
and overnight at Darjeeling.
Day 2 : Early morning trip to Tiger
Hill for a fabulous Sunrise over the Kunchanjungha, visit
to Batasia Loop and Ghoom Monastery on the way back. After
lunch visit local places of tourist interest like Himalayan
Mountaineering Institute, Darjeeling Zoo, tea garden, Tenging
rock, Ropeway point. In the afternoon visit to Rock garden
and Gangamaya Park. Spend your night at Darjeeling.
Day 3 : Morning drive to Mirik
(1767M, 50 Kms), a relatively new tourist destination
in Darjeeling Himalayas and famous for its beautiful lake
surrounded by forested hills. Enjoy the day by boating in
the lake or by horse riding.
Visit Pashupati market known for exclusive foreign goods,
on the Indo-Nepal boarder and also Jorpokhri Salamander Project
at Sukhia Pokhri on your way back. Stay overnight at Darjeeling.
Day 4: Check out after breakfast
and drive to Kalimpong
(1250M, 60Kms). The journey will pass through the fascinating
river valley, teagardens and small picturesque villages on
rolling hill slopes. Take a break at Peshok and enjoy thebreathtaking
landscape that surrounds you. Proceed to Kalimpong, transfer
to hotel and have lunch. Free evening for personal activities.
Tonight's halt will be at Kalimpong
 Day
5 : Morning sight seeing at the Durpin Dara top and Delo
Top. Both the places offer a magnificent panoramic view of
the Kunchanjungha. Visit to flower nurseries and century old
Lepcha monasteries.
After lunch visit to the downtown market for shopping of traditional
crafts and spend Overnight at Kalimpong.
Day 6 : Drive to Gangtok
(1700m, 90Kms) after lunch. All through the journey the
Great Tista River will accompany you. Transfer to hotel and
free evening. Spend night at Gangtok.
Day 7 : Morning visit to Rumtek Monastery,
the second important monastery in Asia. Visit Tibetology Institute
to see the rare collection of Tibetan Thanka and antics, and
also visit Orchid House, Dodurl Chorten, Enchay Monastery.
Back to the hotel for lunch. Have free evening for marketing
local crafts and stay Overnight at Gangtok.
Day 8 : Full day excursion in the
frozen lake at Tsongo (3600M, 42Kms). Enjoy snow around you
as you drive through the steep ghatroads towards the lake.
Visit legendary Baba Mandir on your way back to Gangtok. Have
a free evening and overnight at Gangtok.
Day 9: Back to the hotel for breakfast
and drive back to Siliguri. Farewell and tour concludes at
