Darjeeling Sikkim Package tour

Day 1 - Reception at NJP rail station / Bagdogra airport. Transfer to Darjeeling (80Kms, 6500ft) via Mirik. The road passes through the winding ghat roads and lush green tea gardens on the rolling hill slope. Check in at hotel Evening at leisure. (ONH: Darjeeling).

Day 2 - Early morning visit to Tiger Hill for a breath taking view of sunrise over the Kanchanjunga. Visit to Ghoom monastery & Batasia loop on way back. After breakfast visit to Rock Garden, Gangamaya lake and Darjeeling Botanical Garden. (ONH: Darjeeling).

Day 3 - Visit to Darjeeling Zoo, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Tenzing Rock, Lebong Race Course and Rope way ride over the Takvar valley tea estate. Free evening for marketing and moving around the city. (ONH: Darjeeling).

Day 4 - Drive to Yuksom in West Sikkim. Yuksom is the starting place for many treks and mountaineering expeditions to the Kanchenjunga range. The place provides beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. Overnight at Yuksom.

Day 5 - Half day sight seeing in the morning including visit to Khechepalri Lake. Back to hotel for lunch. After lunch drive to Pelling. Visit Changey falls on the way. Overnight at Pelling.

Day 6 - Pelling is the erstwhile capital of Sikkim. Visit Pemayangtse monastery, one of the oldest and most revered monasteries in Sikkim. Back to hotel for lunch. Evening at your disposal. Overnight at Pelling.

Day 7 - Drive to Ravangla in the morning. This is a relatively new tourist spot in south Sikkim. Situated at an elevation of 8000 ft the small picturesque semi town on the Gangtok - Gaysiling highway, Ravangla is becoming a hot destination for its breathtaking landscape and tranquility. Spend the day at leisure savoring the beauty of nature.(Overnight at Ravangla).

Day 8 - Drive to Gangtok and transfer to hotel. Evening at leisure. Overnight at Gangtok).

Day 9 - Full day excursion to Tsongo lake at 12000ft. Back to Gangtok in the afternoon. Free evening for marketing of traditional handicrafts. (Overnight at Gangtok).

Day 10 - The day will be occupied with local sight seeing in and around Gangtok and will cover all the major tourist attractions including Rumtek monastery, Enchey Monastery, Tashi Namgayal institute of Tibetology, Do-Drul Chorten, Ganesh and Tashi view points, Orchid House etc. (Overnight at Gangtok).

Day 11 - Free morning for marketing. Start for NJP / Bagdogra depending upon your onward / return schedule. Tour concludes.
