Darjeeling Gangtok Pelling Short package tour

Day 1 - Reception at NJP rail station / Bagdogra airport. Transfer to Darjeeling (80Kms, 6500ft) via Mirik (optional). The road passes through the winding ghat roads and lush green tea gardens on the rolling hill slope. Check in at hotel Evening at leisure. (ONH: Darjeeling).

Day 2 - Early morning visit to Tiger Hill for a breath taking view of sunrise over the Kanchanjunga. Visit to Ghoom monastery & Batasia loop on way back.After breakfast visit to Darjeeling Zoo for a rare sight of high altitude Himalayan species and sneak in to the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute. After lunch drive to Gangtok (110kms, 5600ft). Overnight at Gangtok.Day 3 - Day full sight seeing in and around the town including visit to Rumtek Monastery- the second largest Monastery in Asia, Hanuman Tok, Ganesh Tok, Handicraft Center, Museum, Orchid nursery etc. Free evening for marketing local crafts. Halt at Gangtok.

Day 4 - Morning drive to Pelling in West Sikkim (125kms, 6000ft). Evening sight seeing to Pemayangtse Monastery and Kanchenjunga Falls, Rabdantse Ruins. Overnight at PellingDay 5 - Back to Siliguri (135Km). Tour ends.

Special Note - This tour itinerary is a little hectic and we would suggest this to only those guests who want to cover as many places as possible within a short time.
