 Day
1 - Reception at NJP rail station/Bagdogra airport. Transfer
to Darjeeling (100Kms, 6500ft) via Mirik
(optional). The road passes through the winding ghat roads
and lush green tea gardens on the rolling hill slope. You
have free evening. Stay overnight at Darjeeling.
Day 2 - Early morning visit to Tiger
Hill for a breath taking view of sunrise over the Kanchanjunga.
Visit to Ghoom monastery & Batasia loop on way back.
Full day sight seeing at Darjeeling Zoo, Himalayan Mountaineering
Institute, Tenzing Rock, Lebong Race Course and Rope way ride
over the Takvar valley tea estate. Free evening for marketing
and moving around the city. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Day 3 - Drive to Kalimpong via Peshok
road (56Kms, 4500ft). The road passes through some of the
best located tea gardens in the region. Enjoy the beautiful
Rangit valley on your way to Kalimpong. After lunch visit
to Durpindara hilltop for a great panoramic view of the Kanchenjunga
and Kalimpong town. Overnight halt at Kalimpong.
 Day
4 - Visit the Delo top and flower nurseries in the morning.
Drive to Gangtok
(5600ft, 90Kms) through NH31A along the great Tista River.
Transfer to hotel and free evening. Stay night at Gangtok.
Day 5 - Day full sight seeing in
and around the town including visit to Rumtek Monastery- the
second largest Monastery in Asia, Hanuman Tok, Ganesh Tok,
Handicraft Center, Museum, Orchid nursery etc. Free evening
for marketing local crafts. Stay at Gangtok.
Day 6 - Excursion in Nathula
Pass (52Kms, 14000ft), Tsongo
Lake and Baba Mandir (40Kms. 12000ft), Enjoy the day with
snow and back to the Hotel in the evening (Note - Nathula
pass can be visited only by Indians on specified dates, on
other dates and for the Foreigners the tour will be limited
to Tsongo lake and Baba Mandir). Overnight at Gangtok.
Day 7 - Drive back to Siliguri.
