Day 1: Arrival at Phaskhowa Tea Garden. The journey runs through the vast plains along the foothills of Bhutan Himalayas with numerous rivers valleys and beautiful vista of lush green forests and tea gardens on the undulating slopes. Check in at the 120 years old Bungalow on the top of a hill and relax in the luxurious comfort in Planters’ style.
Day 2: Today we explore the garden with the manager and experience the entire process of tea manufacturing with tea plucking, factory visit followed by tea testing for different verities of Dooars tea. After lunch go for an adventurous safari in Buxa Tiger Reserve. The Reserve bordering Bhutan and Assam is an important forest for Royal Bengal Tiger and Indian Bison apart for elephant, leopard, deer and numeral species of birds. This reserve holds the maximum number of Tigers in North Bengal. Watch the wild animals roam freely in their natural habitat from the watch tower inside the park.
Or you can go for a bike ride around the garden and villages and experience the livelihoods of the ethnic people.
The evening will mark with a thumping tribal musical show with dance and bon fire performed by the garden workers.
Day 3: Walk to the nearby river for a scenic view in the morning for couple of hours before checking out from Phaskhawa. Tour ends with breakfast and a warm farewell from the garden and drive to onward destination with memories to cherish for a long time. |
