 Day 1 - Arrival and transfer to Kurseong. Check in at the Selim Hill or Ghoomtee or Makaibari Tea Garden. Welcome tea on arrival. Afternoon walk in the garden and enjoy the serenity. Stay in bungalow.
Day 2 – Transfer to Darjeeling after breakfast. Ride on a Hill Train to Ghoom the highest rail way station in India and then drive by car to Rongli Rongliot or Glenburn Tea Garden. Welcome tea with check in and have leisure afternoon or go for a short walk for a bird watching tour. Stay in bungalow.
Day 3 – Day starts with Tea garden tour with factory visit to feel the difference of the tea quality and flavor. This will be followed by an excursion to Darjeeling town to see the old colonial heritage mingles with local culture in a scenic landscape under the mighty Kunchenjungha. Back to the garden in the evening and soak into the luxury in your cozy room with a cup of hot aromatic tea.
 Day 4 - After breakfast we leave Darjeeling and descend to the foothill plains through the winding roads. Check in at Zurrantee Tea Garden with a warm welcome. After lunch walk around the garden and factory and notice the difference of the leaves and tea flavor. Evening tribal dance around the fire with the rhythm of drum beat. Stay in bungalow.
Day 5 – Today we will take you to an exciting safari to Gorumara National Park to see the Rhino and elephant in their natural habitat. Back to the Garden for lunch and go for a short drive to Samsing and Suntaleykhola river bed for a nature tour.
Day 6 - We leave the garden after breakfast and say goodbye to the garden workers before continuing to onward destination. |
