Day 01 Arrival in Bhutan with scenic drive and Thimphu city tour

Arrive at Paro International Airport and complete immigration and customs procedures before meeting our representative. Begin a scenic drive to Thimphu following the Paro and Thimphu river valleys, covering about 50 km in around 1.5 hours. Thimphu reflects a balance of modern development and traditional Bhutanese culture and is known as the only capital city without traffic lights. On arrival, check in to your hotel and rest. Later, proceed for local sightseeing with a visit to Tashichho Dzong, the seat of Bhutan’s civil administration and monastic body, set along the Wang Chhu River. You may explore the Centenary Farmers Market independently to observe local produce and daily trade. In the evening, enjoy a relaxed walk around Clock Tower Square, a central area representing contemporary Bhutanese life. Return to the hotel with the evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Thimphu.
Day 02 Spiritual cultural and craft heritage of Thimphu

Begin the day at the National Memorial Chorten, a major centre of daily prayer dedicated to world peace. Continue to Buddha Dordenma at Buddha Point, overlooking Thimphu Valley and housing thousands of Buddha statues. Visit the Motithang Takin Preserve to see Bhutan’s national animal in a protected environment. Proceed to Simply Bhutan, an interactive museum presenting traditional Bhutanese lifestyle village settings and cultural practices. Visit Changangkha Lhakhang, one of Thimphu’s oldest temples and an important spiritual site for locals. Explore the National Institute for Zorig Chusum, where students learn Bhutan’s 13 traditional arts and crafts, followed by a visit to Gagyel Lhundrup Weaving Centre to observe traditional textile weaving. Conclude sightseeing at Simtokha Dzong, one of Bhutan’s oldest dzongs with historical significance. Return to the hotel for overnight stay in Thimphu.
Day 03 Mountain drive with Dochula Pass and Punakha arrival

Day 3 Activity : Punakha DzongDochu-la Pass

After breakfast, depart from Thimphu for Punakha, travelling approximately 75 km in about 2.5 hours through forested hills and winding mountain roads. En route, stop at Dochula Pass at an altitude of around 3100 metres, known for panoramic Himalayan views on clear days and the 108 Druk Wangyal Chortens built in traditional Bhutanese style. Continue the journey and arrive in Punakha by afternoon. Punakha, the former royal capital of Bhutan, is known for its scenic valley setting and historic importance. Check in to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay in Punakha.
Day 04 Scenic transfer from Punakha valley to Paro

After breakfast, drive from Punakha to Paro, covering around 115 km in approximately 3.5 hours. The route passes through mountain landscapes river valleys and traditional Bhutanese settlements. Arrive in Paro by afternoon and check in to your hotel. Paro is a historic valley town known for its preserved architecture sacred sites and cultural importance. Surrounded by Himalayan peaks, it also houses Bhutan’s only international airport and serves as the gateway to Taktsang Monastery. The evening is at leisure. Overnight stay in Paro.
Day 05 Cultural landmarks and heritage sites of Paro

Begin the day with a visit to Kyichu Lhakhang, one of Bhutan’s oldest and most sacred temples associated with early Buddhist history. Continue to Ta Dzong, originally built as a watchtower and now serving as Bhutan’s National Museum, displaying artefacts textiles weapons and historical collections. Proceed to Rinpung Dzong, a prominent fortress monastery overlooking the Paro River and an important symbol of Bhutanese architecture. You may choose to wear traditional Bhutanese attire for photographs at these heritage locations. Conclude the day with a visit to the Paro Airport viewpoint, offering views of Bhutan’s only international airport set within a dramatic mountain landscape. Return to the hotel for overnight stay in Paro.
Day 06 Tiger’s Nest hike and spiritual highlight of Bhutan

Today is dedicated to the excursion to Taktsang Monastery, known as the Tiger’s Nest, Bhutan’s most revered spiritual site. Located at an altitude of around 3180 metres, the monastery clings to a cliff nearly 900 metres above the Paro Valley. According to legend, Guru Rinpoche meditated here after arriving on the back of a tigress. The uphill trek generally takes about three and a half hours at a steady pace, while the descent takes around two and a half hours. Despite the physical effort involved, the experience is considered the most rewarding highlight of any Bhutan tour itinerary. After returning to Paro, the evening is at leisure for rest. Overnight stay in Paro.
Day 07 Departure with lasting Bhutan travel impressions

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Paro International Airport for your onward journey. This Bhutan package tour concludes with enduring memories of cultural immersion scenic Himalayan landscapes and spiritually significant experiences that define a meaningful Bhutan travel journey.

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be communicated in writing (via email or authorised messaging platform) and will be effective only from the date and time of receipt by the tour operator.
Cancellation charges shall be calculated on the total package cost, irrespective of the amount paid at the time of cancellation.

Cancellation Charges

More than 21 days before the date of commencement of the tour:
There would be a processing fee of 2000 levied.
Between 15 and 21 days before the date of commencement of the tour: Cancellation charge of 50% of the total package cost.
Between 10 and 14 days before the date of commencement of the tour:
Cancellation charge of 75% of the total package cost.
Within 10 days or less before the date of commencement of the tour, or in case of no-show:
100% cancellation charge. No refund shall be payable.

Important Notes

Any non-refundable or non-amendable components (including but not limited to hotel bookings, permits, special vehicle arrangements, or train/toy train tickets) shall be charged in full, irrespective of the time of cancellation.
Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within a reasonable time period after deduction of cancellation charges and any bank or payment gateway fees.
In case of early departure, unused services, or voluntary curtailment of the tour, no refund shall be admissible.
The tour operator reserves the right to amend or update this cancellation policy in accordance with supplier terms and prevailing regulations.

Child Policy

Children below 5 years of age (Infants / Toddlers)

Complimentary stay without an extra bed.
Meals, if any, shall be payable directly as per hotel policy.
No separate seat will be provided in the vehicle for sightseeing or transfers.

Children between 5 and 10 years of age

Accommodated without an extra bed, sharing the room with parents/guardians.
The meal plan shall be the same as that of the accompanying parents/guardians.
One seat in the vehicle will be provided for the child for all transfers and sightseeing.

Children above 10 years of age

Considered as an extra adult for accommodation, meals, and vehicle seating.
Accommodated with an extra bed or mattress, sharing the room with parents/guardians.

Important Notes

The age of the child shall be calculated as on the date of commencement of the tour.
Maximum room occupancy is subject to hotel policies and applicable local regulations.
Extra beds are generally provided in the form of a mattress on the floor, subject to hotel standards and availability.
Hotels may request proof of age of the child at the time of check-in. In such cases, it is the responsibility of the accompanying parent/guardian to provide valid documentation.
In the event of any age-related discrepancy resulting in reclassification of the child by the hotel, any additional charges arising thereof shall be borne directly by the guest and settled on the spot with the hotel.

Other Policy

All quotes are valid for a maximum period of 15 days. If confirmation and payment do not take place within 15 days, the quote will be invalid.

All accommodation is on a twin sharing basis unless otherwise mentioned in the quotation
The hotel name mentioned are indicative and not confirmed. Before confirmation of the tour, we will confirm the availability of the hotel and suggest an alternative if the mentioned hotel is not available.
Extra Person / Child with Bed (CWB) shall be provided with a mattress & not bed.
In case of bad weather, poor road condition, local or political disturbance, security reasons, or any other unforeseen circumstances, the operations team may decide to make changes in the itinerary. Every effort will be made to consult the guests in such eventuality, however, the decision of the operations team will be final and binding on the guests.
In case of young or older persons or persons with health issues or disabilities, consult your doctor about the itinerary. Also if any special arrangement is needed, such information should be given to our team in advance before confirmation of the tour.

Any dispute arising is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Siliguri irrespective of any competence court present at the place of dispute.
