  • Day 01 Scenic drive through Dooars to Bhutan gateway

    Meet and greet on arrival at Bagdogra Airport followed by a comfortable drive to Phuentsholing Jaigaon covering approximately 150 km in about three and a half hours. The drive through the Dooars plains introduces forested landscapes rivers and tea gardens that mark the beginning of this Bhutan package tour itinerary. Jaigaon on the Indian side and Phuentsholing on the Bhutanese side together form the principal land entry to Bhutan and reflect a long history of cross border interaction. On arrival check in to your hotel. The evening is free to relax or take a gentle walk around town and absorb your first impressions of Bhutan. Overnight stay in Phuentsholing.

  • Day 02 Immigration process and arrival in capital city

    After breakfast check out and complete immigration formalities at Phuentsholing. Indian travellers do not require a visa while international travellers complete standard entry procedures. After formalities begin the drive to Thimphu covering approximately 145 km in about four and a half hours. This scenic journey is a key highlight of any Bhutan tour plan passing through forested hills river valleys and waterfalls. A short refreshment stop may be taken en route to sample traditional Bhutanese butter tea and local noodles. On arrival in Thimphu check in to your hotel and refresh. Later visit Tashichho Dzong the seat of Bhutan civil administration and an important monastic centre. You may explore the Centenary Farmers Market independently to observe local produce and daily trade. In the evening walk around Clock Tower Square known for its cafes shops and relaxed city atmosphere before returning to the hotel. Overnight stay in Thimphu.

  • Day 03 Cultural spiritual and artistic exploration

    Today is dedicated to a full day sightseeing tour of Thimphu focusing on Bhutan spiritual and cultural heritage. Visit the National Memorial Chorten an important place of daily worship built in memory of Bhutan third king. Proceed to Buddha Dordenma at Buddha Point overlooking the Thimphu valley and housing thousands of Buddha statues. Visit the Motithang Takin Preserve to observe Bhutan national animal in a protected environment. Continue to Simply Bhutan an interactive living museum that introduces traditional attire archery folk music and village life. Visit Changangkha Lhakhang a revered twelfth century temple with views over the valley. Explore the National Institute for Zorig Chusum subject to operating days to understand Bhutan traditional arts and crafts. Visit the Gagyel Lhundrup Weaving Centre to observe traditional weaving techniques. Conclude with a visit to Simtokha Dzong one of the oldest dzongs in Bhutan with historical significance. Overnight stay in Thimphu.

  • Day 04 Dochula Pass and drive to former royal capital
    Day 4 Activity : Punakha DzongDochu-la Pass

    After breakfast depart from Thimphu for Punakha covering around 75 km in about two and a half hours. The drive passes through forested slopes and winding mountain roads. En route stop at Dochula Pass situated at approximately 3100 metres offering panoramic Himalayan views on clear days and home to the 108 Druk Wangyal Chortens. In winter the pass is often snow covered adding a seasonal highlight. Continue the drive and arrive in Punakha by afternoon to experience the valley that once served as Bhutan royal capital. Overnight stay in Punakha.

  • Day 05 Mountain drive to Paro valley

    Drive from Punakha to Paro covering approximately 115 km in around three and a half hours. The route passes through mountain landscapes river valleys and traditional settlements. Arrive in Paro by afternoon. Paro is home to Bhutan only international airport and is known for its fertile valley preserved architecture and sacred sites. The remainder of the day is at leisure allowing time to settle into the Paro valley environment. Overnight stay in Paro.

  • Day 06 Temples dzongs and cultural landmarks

    Spend the day exploring Paro Valley starting with Kyichu Lhakhang one of the oldest and most sacred temples in Bhutan and an important pilgrimage site. Visit Ta Dzong originally built as a watchtower and now housing the National Museum with artefacts textiles weapons and cultural exhibits. Continue to Rinpung Dzong an imposing fortress monastery and one of Paro most important landmarks. Time may be taken to experience traditional Bhutanese attire for photographs against historic backdrops. Conclude the day with a visit to the Paro Airport viewpoint offering views of the dramatic mountain setting of Bhutan only international airport. Overnight stay in Paro.

  • Day 07 Iconic hike to Taktsang Monastery
    Day 7 Activity : Taksang Monastery

    Today is reserved for the excursion to Taktsang Monastery known as the Tiger Nest the most iconic experience of any Bhutan tour itinerary. Located at around 3180 metres the monastery is perched on a cliff nearly 900 metres above the Paro Valley. According to legend Guru Rinpoche meditated here after arriving on the back of a tigress. The uphill trek generally takes about three and a half hours at a steady pace with the descent taking around two and a half hours. While physically demanding the hike is widely regarded as the most rewarding experience of a Bhutan package tour. Return to Paro and spend the evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Paro.

  • Day 08 Return journey to Bhutan border town

    After breakfast drive back to Phuentsholing covering approximately 140 km in about four hours. The journey passes through mountain roads gradually transitioning into subtropical landscapes. On arrival the evening is free to explore local markets enjoy a relaxed walk or experience popular local eateries that reflect everyday border town life. Overnight stay in Phuentsholing.

  • Day 09 Border exit and onward travel

    After breakfast check out and transfer to Bagdogra Airport for your onward journey. As this Bhutan experiential tour itinerary concludes you depart with a deeper understanding of its landscapes culture and spiritual traditions. The memories gathered across valleys monasteries and mountain passes remain a lasting part of the travel experience.

Inclusions

  • Hotel names are indicative, the actual hotels may be different in case the above hotel is not available on a particular date. The final hotel name will be communicated with the guests before confirmation of booking.
  • Meet & Greet upon arrival at Airport / Station.
  • Accommodation on Twin sharing basis. 
  • Extra Person / Child with Bed (CWB) sharing the room shall get the mattress. 
  • Hotel Accommodation for a duration as mentioned in the itinerary.  
  • Meal Plan - CP (Complimentary breakfast at Hotel only).
  • All Transfer & Sightseeing by 01 NON AC Dzire (upto 3 Pax) / Xcent (Upto 3 Pax) / Tata Sumo (Upto 8 Pax) / Similar.
  • All applicable Transfers & Sightseeing by a vehicle that will not be at disposal and will be exclusively used for the group as per the itinerary only (on point to point basis). 
  • Vehicle toll and parking included.

Exclusions

  • Additional usage of vehicle, other than scheduled & mentioned in the itinerary.

  • Personal expenses such as laundry, bottled water, soft drinks, incidentals, porter charges, tips, etc.

  • Elephant and Jeep Safari in Kaziranga.

  • Cost of optional / suggested tours, Guide charge, Sightseeing entrance fee, Room Heater charge in the hotel.

  • Cost for any other service not mentioned under the “Inclusions” Head.

  • Cost for Airfare, Train fare.

  • 5% GST on the total billing. 

Cancellation Policy

  • All cancellations must be communicated in writing (via email or authorised messaging platform) and will be effective only from the date and time of receipt by the tour operator.

  • Cancellation charges shall be calculated on the total package cost, irrespective of the amount paid at the time of cancellation.

Cancellation Charges

  • More than 21 days before the date of commencement of the tour:
    There would be a processing fee of 2000 levied.

  • Between 15 and 21 days before the date of commencement of the tour: Cancellation charge of 50% of the total package cost.

  • Between 10 and 14 days before the date of commencement of the tour:
    Cancellation charge of 75% of the total package cost.

  • Within 10 days or less before the date of commencement of the tour, or in case of no-show:
    100% cancellation charge. No refund shall be payable.

Important Notes

  • Any non-refundable or non-amendable components (including but not limited to hotel bookings, permits, special vehicle arrangements, or train/toy train tickets) shall be charged in full, irrespective of the time of cancellation.

  • Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within a reasonable time period after deduction of cancellation charges and any bank or payment gateway fees.

  • In case of early departure, unused services, or voluntary curtailment of the tour, no refund shall be admissible.

  • The tour operator reserves the right to amend or update this cancellation policy in accordance with supplier terms and prevailing regulations.

Child Policy

Child Policy

Children below 5 years of age (Infants / Toddlers)

  • Complimentary stay without an extra bed.

  • Meals, if any, shall be payable directly as per hotel policy.

  • No separate seat will be provided in the vehicle for sightseeing or transfers.

Children between 5 and 10 years of age

  • Accommodated without an extra bed, sharing the room with parents/guardians.

  • The meal plan shall be the same as that of the accompanying parents/guardians.

  • One seat in the vehicle will be provided for the child for all transfers and sightseeing.

Children above 10 years of age

  • Considered as an extra adult for accommodation, meals, and vehicle seating.

  • Accommodated with an extra bed or mattress, sharing the room with parents/guardians.

Important Notes

  • The age of the child shall be calculated as on the date of commencement of the tour.

  • Maximum room occupancy is subject to hotel policies and applicable local regulations.

  • Extra beds are generally provided in the form of a mattress on the floor, subject to hotel standards and availability.

  • Hotels may request proof of age of the child at the time of check-in. In such cases, it is the responsibility of the accompanying parent/guardian to provide valid documentation.

  • In the event of any age-related discrepancy resulting in reclassification of the child by the hotel, any additional charges arising thereof shall be borne directly by the guest and settled on the spot with the hotel.

Other Policy

  • All quotes are valid for a maximum period of 15 days. If confirmation and payment do not take place within 15 days, the quote will be invalid.
  • Tariff quotes given on our website may change without advance notice.
  • All tariffs given are valid for Indian Nationals only.
  • All accommodation is on a twin sharing basis unless otherwise mentioned in the quotation
  • The hotel name mentioned are indicative and not confirmed. Before confirmation of the tour, we will confirm the availability of the hotel and suggest an alternative if the mentioned hotel is not available.
  • Extra Person / Child with Bed (CWB) shall be provided with a mattress & not bed.
  • In case of bad weather, poor road condition, local or political disturbance, security reasons, or any other unforeseen circumstances, the operations team may decide to make changes in the itinerary. Every effort will be made to consult the guests in such eventuality, however, the decision of the operations team will be final and binding on the guests.
  • In case of young or older persons or persons with health issues or disabilities, consult your doctor about the itinerary. Also if any special arrangement is needed, such information should be given to our team in advance before confirmation of the tour.
  • Documents required: 1 Photo identity,1   Address proof.
  • Room heaters will be chargeable.
  • Any dispute arising is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Siliguri irrespective of any competence court present at the place of dispute.
