  • Day 01 Arrival in Guwahati followed by a scenic drive to the hill capital of Meghalaya.

    On arrival at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station, you are received and assisted for your onward journey to Shillong. The drive of around 100 km takes about three hours and gradually climbs through the Khasi Hills. The road journey offers pleasant views of forests and hill landscapes as you approach Meghalaya.Shillong, located at an altitude of about 6825 ft, has long been known as the cultural and administrative centre of Meghalaya. After reaching Shillong, check in at the hotel and take some time to refresh after the journey.The evening remains free for leisure. Guests often choose to explore the nearby local markets or simply enjoy the relaxed hill town atmosphere. Overnight stay in Shillong.

     

  • Day 02 Full day excursion to Cherrapunjee exploring waterfalls, viewpoints and limestone caves.

    After breakfast begin the excursion to Cherrapunjee, located about 60 km from Shillong. The drive passes through scenic hill roads and open valleys typical of the Khasi plateau.En route stop at Mawkdok Viewpoint which offers sweeping views of deep valleys and forested hills. Continue the journey to Cherrapunjee, also known as Sohra, a region famous for its dramatic landscapes and seasonal waterfalls.Visit the well known Nohkalikai Falls, one of the tallest plunge waterfalls in India. Continue to Seven Sisters Falls which becomes especially impressive during the monsoon months. The tour also includes Thangkharang Park from where, on clear days, the plains of Bangladesh can be seen.Later explore Mawsmai Cave, one of the accessible limestone caves of Meghalaya known for natural formations and narrow passages. In the afternoon return to Shillong. On the way visit Elephant Falls, a popular three tier waterfall located close to the city. Before returning to the hotel stop at Shillong Peak, the highest point in the area offering a view of Shillong town and surrounding hills. Overnight stay in Shillong.

     

  • Day 03 Morning Shillong sightseeing followed by a long scenic drive to Kaziranga National Park.

    After breakfast proceed for a half day Shillong city tour between approximately 830 AM and 100 PM. Begin with a visit to the Don Bosco Museum, an important cultural institution presenting the traditions and lifestyles of North East India.Continue to Ward’s Lake where visitors can enjoy a short boating experience surrounded by landscaped gardens. The tour also includes the Botanical Garden and Lady Hydari Park, both known for their maintained lawns and local plant species.After completing the city tour, begin the drive to Kaziranga National Park covering around 270 km in approximately seven hours. The route gradually descends from the Meghalaya hills to the plains of Assam.On arrival check in at the hotel or wildlife resort near Kaziranga. The evening is free to relax after the journey. Overnight stay in Kaziranga.

     

  • Day 04 Elephant and jeep safari experience in the wildlife habitats of Kaziranga National Park.

    Early morning proceed for an elephant safari in the Western Range of Kaziranga National Park subject to availability. Riding through the grasslands at sunrise offers an opportunity to observe wildlife closely. Kaziranga is globally recognised for the conservation of the endangered One Horned Rhinoceros. The park also supports large populations of Wild Water Buffalo, Asian Elephants and Royal Bengal Tigers.Return to the resort for breakfast and some time to relax. In the afternoon proceed for a jeep safari in the Central Range of the park between around 130 PM and 330 PM.Kaziranga is also an important bird habitat with nearly 500 recorded species. Birds commonly seen include Crested Serpent Eagle, Pallas Fishing Eagle, Grey Headed Fishing Eagle, Bar Headed Goose, Whistling Teal and Bengal Florican along with several storks and pelicans. After the safari return to the resort. Overnight stay in Kaziranga.

     

  • Day 05 Drive towards Arunachal Pradesh foothills and stay at the gateway town.

    After breakfast begin the drive towards Bhalukpong, known as the gateway to Arunachal Pradesh. The journey moves through the plains of Assam towards the forested foothills of the Eastern Himalayas.Bhalukpong is located along the Kameng River and serves as an entry point to the mountain districts of Arunachal Pradesh. On arrival check in at the hotel.The evening remains free for rest after the drive and to enjoy the calm environment of this small border town. Overnight stay in Bhalukpong.

  • Day 06 Scenic mountain drive with visit to a major orchid research centre.

    After an early breakfast check out and begin the drive towards Dirang, located at about 4910 ft in the West Kameng district of Arunachal Pradesh.En route stop at Tipi Orchidarium situated on the banks of the Bharali River at an elevation of around 190 metres. This orchid research centre houses more than 7500 orchids and showcases several rare species including varieties of Lady’s Slipper and Dendrobium. Arunachal Pradesh is known for having the largest diversity of orchids in India.Continue the drive through winding mountain roads and valleys before arriving at Dirang. After check in at the hotel the evening is free to relax in the quiet surroundings of this Himalayan valley town. Overnight stay in Dirang.

     

  • Day 07 High altitude Himalayan drive crossing the famous Sela Pass.

    After breakfast check out and begin the journey towards Tawang located at about 10000 ft. The drive gradually ascends through mountain roads and passes through dramatic Himalayan landscapes.En route visit the Jaswant Garh War Memorial which honours the soldiers who fought during the 1962 Indo China conflict. Continue the ascent to Sela Pass at an altitude of about 13494 ft. The pass is known for its high altitude lakes and changing weather conditions. During winter months the region often experiences snowfall.After crossing the pass continue the drive to Tawang. On arrival check in at the hotel and take rest after the long journey. The evening remains free for leisure. Overnight stay in Tawang.

  • Day 08 Full day exploration of Tawang monastery and high altitude lake.

    After breakfast begin the sightseeing tour of Tawang. Visit Tawang Monastery, one of the largest Buddhist monasteries in India and an important religious centre of the region. The monastery overlooks the valley and provides insight into the Buddhist culture of Arunachal Pradesh.Later drive to Sungester Lake located at about 14500 ft. The lake was formed after a major earthquake in 1950 and is surrounded by rugged mountain landscapes. It is popularly known as Madhuri Lake after scenes of the film Koyla were shot here.Travellers may also choose an optional excursion to Bumla Pass located around 45 km from Tawang at an altitude of about 15000 ft. This historic mountain pass lies on the Indo China border and is known as the route through which the Dalai Lama entered India while escaping Tibet. The visit requires permits and can be arranged locally at additional cost.Return to the hotel by evening. Overnight stay in Tawang.

     

  • Day 09 Return drive through the mountains with visits to Bomdila monasteries.

    After early breakfast check out and drive towards Bomdila located at about 7274 ft. The route passes through scenic mountain landscapes as you descend gradually from the higher Himalayan region.On arrival check in at the hotel and proceed to visit Gontse Rabgyaling Monastery also known as the Upper Gonpa. Later visit Thub Chog Gatsel Ling Monastery or the Lower Gonpa which serves as an important centre for Buddhist learning in the region.Continue to Bomdila View Point which offers wide views of the surrounding Himalayan ranges and valleys. Return to the hotel in the evening. Overnight stay in Bomdila.

     

  • Day 10 Return journey from Arunachal Himalayas to the plains of Assam.

    After breakfast check out and begin the long drive to Guwahati covering around 335 km in approximately ten hours. The route descends from the mountains and gradually enters the plains of Assam.On arrival in Guwahati check in at the hotel. The evening is free for rest or a short visit to nearby local markets depending on arrival time. Overnight stay in Guwahati.

  • Day 11 Temple visit followed by transfer to Guwahati airport or railway station.

    After early breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to visit the famous Kamakhya Temple located on Nilachal Hill. The temple is one of the most significant Shakti Peeths in India and attracts devotees from across the country.After completing the temple visit, transfer to Guwahati Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey. The tour concludes with travel memories across Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh and Assam, covering waterfalls, wildlife habitats and Himalayan landscapes of North East India.

Cancellation Policy

  • All cancellations must be communicated in writing (via email or authorised messaging platform) and will be effective only from the date and time of receipt by the tour operator.

  • Cancellation charges shall be calculated on the total package cost, irrespective of the amount paid at the time of cancellation.

Cancellation Charges

  • More than 21 days before the date of commencement of the tour:
    There would be a processing fee of 2000 levied.

  • Between 15 and 21 days before the date of commencement of the tour: Cancellation charge of 50% of the total package cost.

  • Between 10 and 14 days before the date of commencement of the tour:
    Cancellation charge of 75% of the total package cost.

  • Within 10 days or less before the date of commencement of the tour, or in case of no-show:
    100% cancellation charge. No refund shall be payable.

Important Notes

  • Any non-refundable or non-amendable components (including but not limited to hotel bookings, permits, special vehicle arrangements, or train/toy train tickets) shall be charged in full, irrespective of the time of cancellation.

  • Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within a reasonable time period after deduction of cancellation charges and any bank or payment gateway fees.

  • In case of early departure, unused services, or voluntary curtailment of the tour, no refund shall be admissible.

  • The tour operator reserves the right to amend or update this cancellation policy in accordance with supplier terms and prevailing regulations.

Children below 5 years of age (Infants / Toddlers)

  • Complimentary stay without an extra bed.

  • Meals, if any, shall be payable directly as per hotel policy.

  • No separate seat will be provided in the vehicle for sightseeing or transfers.

Children between 5 and 10 years of age

  • Accommodated without an extra bed, sharing the room with parents/guardians.

  • The meal plan shall be the same as that of the accompanying parents/guardians.

  • One seat in the vehicle will be provided for the child for all transfers and sightseeing.

Children above 10 years of age

  • Considered as an extra adult for accommodation, meals, and vehicle seating.

  • Accommodated with an extra bed or mattress, sharing the room with parents/guardians.

Important Notes

  • The age of the child shall be calculated as on the date of commencement of the tour.

  • Maximum room occupancy is subject to hotel policies and applicable local regulations.

  • Extra beds are generally provided in the form of a mattress on the floor, subject to hotel standards and availability.

  • Hotels may request proof of age of the child at the time of check-in. In such cases, it is the responsibility of the accompanying parent/guardian to provide valid documentation.

  • In the event of any age-related discrepancy resulting in reclassification of the child by the hotel, any additional charges arising thereof shall be borne directly by the guest and settled on the spot with the hotel.

  • In case of bad weather, poor road condition, local or political disturbance, security reasons, or any other unforeseen circumstances, the operations team may decide to make changes in the itinerary. Every effort will be made to consult the guests in such eventuality, however, the decision of the operations team will be final and binding on the guests.
  • In case of young or older persons or persons with health issues or disabilities, consult your doctor about the itinerary. Also if any special arrangement is needed, such information should be given to our team in advance before confirmation of the tour.
  • Arunachal Pradesh is very remote place, so all hotels in this region are basic to very very basic.
  • Road conditions from Bhalukpong to Tawang are very bad
  • To visit Arunachal Pradesh & Nagaland, Indian national requires Inner Line   Permits. Permits are issued in Guwahati which takes 2-3 working days.
  • Documents required: 4 passport size photographs, 1 Photo identity,1   Address proof.
  • For Madhuri lake and Bumla pass need a additional vehicle.
  • Room heaters will be chagebale .
  • Any dispute arising is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Siliguri irrespective of any competence court present at the place of dispute.
